There might be some questions you want answered before you decide to reach out and make contact with me! Whether these questions are regarding one-on-one therapy sessions or booking my workshops, the most commonly asked questions are listed below! How much does it cost?

Weekday: $150
Saturday: $170

For HCC/Pension card holders fees are $20 less.

How long are sessions?

50-60mins

How often do I need to attend?

This depends on the issues you present with and availability of appointments. Generally, I like to start with weekly sessions so we can build rapport and get to know each other better. We can then spread sessions out to a timeframe that is suitable for both of us and the work we are trying to accomplish.

Do you offer online sessions? How much do they cost?

Yes, online sessions are available through Zoom. 

How do I book?

Contact me to make a booking. 

Can I get a rebate?

No, unfortunately rebates are not available through Medicare or private health.

Do I need a referral?

No, this is not required.

What is your cancellation policy?

48 hours’ notice is required to cancel or reschedule your session. Otherwise, a late cancellation or non-attend fee of 50% of your session fee will be charged. 

Do you have a free intake session?

Yes. I provide FREE 15-minute intake sessions over the phone to answer any of your questions and see if we would be the right fit to work together. 

WORKSHOPS

Here are some commonly asked questions that you might have regarding my workshops. 

Some workshops may require physical movement, so guidelines around attire are provided. 

Who are the workshops designed for?

I have a range of workshops that are designed for corporate companies, high schools, and community or private groups. 

How do you deliver the workshops?

In person at the organisation’s location. Virtual delivery is also available.

How far in advance do I need to book a workshop?

Minimum 1 months’ notice is required.

Is a deposit required?

Yes. 10% to confirm your booking, 50% due two week’s before commencement of the program, and the balance paid two days before the program commences.

How long are the workshops?

Depending on the package you choose, workshops vary from 30 minutes to 3 hours. For a copy of our workshop packages please email me at steph@movementwithsteph.com.au.

What attire do we need to wear?

Comfortable clothing that is easy to move around in and supportive footwear. Please note that Bootybarre® and bbarrless® classes are done barefoot.

I have some injuries. Which workshops are suitable for me?

You can attend any workshop that incorporates physical movement as long as you are mindful of your injuries and take the modifications supplied. Please notify me of your injuries so that I can provide you with alternatives to ensure your safety throughout the session.

Do I need to bring anything to the workshop?

Pen and notepad. Electronic devices can also be used for note-taking. If other equipment, for example, a yoga mat, is required for the specific workshop chosen, you will be notified beforehand. 

What type of workshops do you offer?

My workshops combine psychological concepts with physical movement. The workshops are designed to provide education on our emotions, understanding of what they are telling us, and knowledge of different strategies and tools to regulate them. We combine this with the physical experience of moving your body in a way that assists the processing of these emotions. This allows the individual to function better, healthier and happier in a way that benefits and improves the group.
