“Working Out Anger” offers a series of engaging activities aimed at helping participants understand the nature of anger and how to manage it constructively.

This workshop features interactive sessions that uncover the truth about anger and provide strategies for effective regulation.

Participants will also take part in a STRONG30™ class, showcasing the powerful connection between emotion regulation and physical exercise.

Calming Down Anxiety & Stress

Calming Down Anxiety & Stress offers an interactive, body-based approach to understanding and managing the anxiety and stress that so often overwhelm our daily lives.

In this 90-minute workshop, you’ll explore what’s really going on in your body and mind when you’re feeling anxious or stressed. Through a combination of engaging education, reflective activities, and physical movement, you’ll learn how the nervous system responds to pressure — and how to bring it back into balance using evidence-based and embodied techniques.

This workshop features a Veraflow® class — a gentle but powerful movement session that blends dynamic stretching, breathwork, and mindfulness. This class helps calm your system from the inside out, giving you a lived experience of what regulation can feel like in your body.

Here are some commonly asked questions that you might have regarding my workshops. 

Some workshops may require physical movement, so guidelines around attire are provided.

Who are the workshops designed for?

Anyone aged 18+. Children between 12-18 years of age are welcome to attend but must do so with a parent.

How do you deliver the workshops?

Most workshops are delivered in-person, however, some have the ability to be delivered online. If you are wanting to attend a specific workshop online, please email me at steph@movementwithsteph.com.au 

How far in advance do I need to book a workshop?

Registrations close 24 hours before the workshop.

Is a deposit required?

Full payment is required in order to confirm your registration.

How long are the workshops?

This varies according to the workshop chosen. Please see the individual workshops offered for their specific duration. 

What attire do we need to wear?

As some workshops include physical activity, it is recommended that comfortable clothing that is easy to move around in and supportive footwear is worn. More specific details will be provided in the description of each workshop.

I have some injuries. Which workshops are suitable for me?

You can attend any workshop that incorporates physical movement as long as you are mindful of your injuries and take the modifications supplied. Please notify me of your injuries so that I can provide you with alternatives to ensure your safety throughout the session.

Do I need to bring anything to the workshop?

Pen and notepad. Electronic devices can also be used for note-taking. If other equipment, for example, a yoga mat, is required for the specific workshop chosen, you will be notified beforehand.

What type of workshops do you offer?

My workshops combine psychological concepts with physical movement. The workshops are designed to provide education on our emotions, understanding of what they are telling us, and knowledge of different strategies and tools to regulate them. We combine this with the physical experience of moving your body in a way that assists the processing of these emotions. This allows the individual to function better, healthier and happier in a way that benefits and improves the group.
