My name is Steph and I am a lover of all things health and wellness related.
I started dancing when I was 3 years old and have loved it ever since.
Initially learning jazz, tap, ballet, and contemporary, I broadened out to including group fitness when I was 20 years old.
I never quite understood the impact that moving my body frequently had on my emotional, mental, and spiritual health until I began studying my Masters of Counselling and Psychotherapy degree.
Through this degree and my own spiritual journey as a practicing Catholic, I learned how strong the links between our physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual health are.
Prior to finishing my degree, I was diagnosed with a chronic health condition that completely changed the way I lived my life.
I used to be constantly busy, filling my months, weeks, days, and hours with all manner of commitments, obligations, and responsibilities. I rarely had time for myself and I thought that was okay.
I taught group fitness and dance classes but was so out of touch with my own body, I didn’t even realise how much pain and agony I was in. It wasn’t until my body literally stopped me from doing the things with which I filled my days that I started to listen to it.
It was an incredibly tough lesson.
Tremendously Painful.
There was so much suffering, heartache, and loneliness.
Truthfully, It felt like a rebirth.
Like God had told me I needed to change the way I lived my life because going on as I had been was going to kill me. This frenetic pace and way I was living was keeping me unfulfilled, unaware, and out of reach of the love, joy, and abundance He had planned for me.
So, I did the work.
I had already been seeing a therapist, thank goodness for that, and with his help I began to really delve deep into my psyche. I accessed the professional support I needed to get me physically, emotionally, and mentally through the pain I was feeling in my body and in my soul.
Automatically, I leant on God. Engaging more in the practice of my faith, deepening my relationship with Our Lord, and finding meaning in my suffering was probably the biggest shift I made. Now, my life is much more balanced and filled with more joy, love, abundance, and peace than I had before.
It is now my mission to help others like me.
Those who are constantly busy, don’t make time (or have time) for themselves, are people-pleasers, and are out of touch with their body, their needs, and their wants.
It is my goal to work with committed people like you who want to create more balance and peace in your life because you know you cannot continue as you have been and would like the support and guidance in making a shift.
I want to support those who are willing to put in the work and are committed and ready to start the journey of improving their life not just for themselves but so they can be of better value to others.
If you’re ready to embrace change, dismantle old patterns, and invest in a more fulfilling future, I’m here to support you every step of the way.
I am so passionate about this work because I have been where you are.
I draw on my own experience plus what I have learned through my professional training to truly support and guide you through your own process.
If any of this resonates with you, I would love to connect!
